COLLECTIONS
Are you owed money?  Have you been ripped off?  Do you have a
judgment and do not know what the next step is?  Attorney Brian T.
Morgan can help.  Sometimes the matter can be solved by sending a
simple letter from my office demanding the debt.  This is a cheaper
alternative to a full blown case.

One specific area in which Attorney Brian Morgan works is helping
landlords recover from tenants who abandon and / or destroy the
apartments they rent.  The first step always is sending a demand letter.
There is no need to clog the Court Docket if there is an agreement that
can be met outside of court.

If this demand letter does not work, the next step is getting a judgment
against the individual.  Sometimes this is done through a trial and
sometimes the Defendant does not show up for Court and you get a
default judgment.  If the case does go to trial, this would be the only time
that you would need to appear in Court.

After the judgment is gotten, the collection aspect of the case begins.
This can be a long and drawn out process.  Often times a payment
arrangement can be reached and monthly payments will be received.
Other times, the Debtor will be unwilling to appear.  In extreme cases, the
Judge will issue a warrant for all or part of the money due.
